I'm catching a last-minute flight to Milan this morning to meet friends and have a spontaneous adventure for a few days - checking out Lake Garda and who knows what else. :) While I'm sure I'll be enjoying a glass {or 2 or 3 or ...} of wine, I'll leave you with a yummy holiday drink recipe created by super-talented Maggie Battista, founder of www.eatboutique.com, and expertly photographed by Heidi, of White Loft Studio. Let me know if you decide to make one! I think this wintery cocktail would make the perfect signature drink for a wedding or any event - and it's so simple to make ... well, you'll be feeling fine in no time! ;)
1 tablespoon Creme de Violette
4 ounces chilled sparkling wine like a Cava or Prosecco
Directions:
Pour the Creme de Violette into a tall flute.
Slowly and gently, pour in the sparkling wine and serve.
Thanks to Maggie and Heidi for sharing this fine concoction with us! xx You can check out more delicious drink + food recipes on Maggie’s labor of love, Eat Boutique.
Tune in tomorrow on CB for a few fun + easy ways to garnish your cocktails - your holiday soiree will be changed for life!
