Third day of Christmas: Luzern, Switzerland wedding

With snowflakes dotting the air and our Christmas tree's lights glowing bright, I felt inspired to share a series of holiday inspiration boards entitled Twelve Days of Christmas. Many of them have graced the pages of CB before but others I created for guest posts on other blogs so they'll probably be new to you! I hope they bring you some happy holiday cheer as well as some inspiration for wedding planning!

I love this board and I can't wait to soon revisit the snowy slopes of Luzern this winter. You can view all the details from today's board right here and below is a peek at what I originally had to say about the board:

"Luzern is a long-time favorite of mine. Nestled amongst the foothills of the Alps, it lends a rich history of traditional Swiss architecture blended seamlessly with modern European minimalism. This stark contrast captured my heart during my first visit and I strove to recreate that unexpected mix with this wedding board. Nothing shorter than a week-long celebration would do justice to a wedding in Luzern. I imagine a week on the slopes with dear friends and family, après-ski cocoa {or cocktails} and lodge fires. The exquisite Hotel Château Gütsch, which is perched atop the mountainside, could serve as the ceremony and reception site, as well as a welcome retreat for guests."

Note: I understand the twelve days of Christmas technically begin on December 26 and include Epiphany on January 6 but let's play make-believe and just go with it ...
