Perhaps this is more of a retro find ... do you remember wearing plastic heart-shaped sunglasses when you were little? I do ... In fact, I believe I had a pink pair that went smashingly well with my bright pink Minnie Mouse t-shirt and purple shorts ... and of course, the outfit wasn't complete without jellies! While you may not see me prancing about in the same ensemble today, I would totally still be down with the sunglasses ... why did these lovelies ever go away?
Aren't they the most cheerful accessory? I'm particularly fond of the classic red variety but they're also fab in any pastel shade and I'm loving the idea of a bride and her 'maids each wearing a pair for fun photos and, well, just because. It could also be cute for the bride and groom or to offer shades to guests for an outdoor ceremony or next to the photobooth. ;o)
But personally, I'm thinking the shades would be a delish accent for a couples photo session in Paris ... Perhaps soon?
Here's the pair I'm thinking about ordering ... do you have favorite pair? Tell me!

ReplyDeleteEeee! I had not seen Jo's favors - those are amazing - what a fantastic idea. :o) Thanks for sharing.
I had a pair of purple heart glasses when I was a kid and wore them every day (even when it was cloudy). I lost them while sailing and can still remember how my heart sunk along with the frames. Devastating.
