Idea Crush: Bright/Textured/Patterned tights

I used to looove wearing tights when I was younger so I've really been embracing the current comeback. It's so easy to find tights right now in a rainbow of bright hues and textures running the gamut from classic to crazy ... which got me thinking ... how well would the runway trend translate to a wedding?

Personally, I think white tights for a bride might be a bit much ... I suppose if you did a patterned white tight, it could work but the idea I'm really loving is to dress your bridesmaids in bright and cheery frocks with matching opaque white tights. They could all choose their own style and color of dress yet the cohesive colouring of the tights would bring them all together in unison ... maybe a bit like this:

Going back to bridal fashion, I think it would be a fun and unexpected surprise to wear some eye-catching leggings or tights beneath an über-traditional floor-length dress ...

Something with a bit of sparkle or shine could make a lovely statement with a hint of sass:

Or you could incorporate your 'something blue' with hidden tights ... if the bright rocker blue {below} isn't your style, you could always go with a more subdued shade ... think Tiffany Blue or Robin's Egg blue:

I'm really kind of loving the vintage appeal of these next three ... I think they'd be unexpected enough to pair with a bridal gown but still sophisticated enough to really carry an interesting and alluring look:
