Pink peonies are the classic springtime wedding flower. With their layers of ruffled petals, they are whimsical and unabashedly girly. We envisioned a blooming meadow with the afternoon sun reflecting off elegant pieces of furniture brought outdoors. For the centerpieces, peonies would sit in milkglass vases with accents of gold tastefully sprinkled throughout. The bride would wear a full, ruffly dress with glittery shoes peeking out from beneath. A simple cake with a sugar peony would complete this affair!

Love Love Love the peonies..My only regret of my August wedding was that they weren't in season. Thanks so much for sharing this post. We recently also used a Christian Oath photograph of a white bridal bouqet featuring peonies that I absolutely died for. Cant wait to see more photos as the June/July peony season approaches! Thanks for sharing :)
