Continuing with our New Orleans visit, one of my favorite places we visited was Tara Shaw's showroom on Camp Street in the Garden District. I've long been a fan of Swedish/Gustavian antiques and Tara specializes in those, as well as French and Italian antiques ... It was such a treat to admire so many gems in one room!
The chairs shown above reminded me of hot air balloons and I started thinking how fabulous it would be to use those for a laidback wedding in a wheat field, followed by the bride and groom taking off in a balloon, waving goodbye to guests. :o)
Such endless inspiration ... Seriously, if you find yourself in the Big Easy, head over to Tara's shop, if only to dream. It was a delight.
And check back in tomorrow for a glimpse at some of our Alabama travels and finds!

It looks lovely~wish I was there now....smiles.
