As you all know, we're busy preparing for a European move this summer so I thought I would start a sporadic series for my Wednesday Nesting posts that give a glimpse of my mental wishlist for furniture, etc., that I'm hoping to find during our three-year stay. :o)
First up, a French secretary or cupboard! I would LOVE to find one with a mesh/chicken wire door like the one on the right above! I think it would be perfect to store all my CB Vintage treasures {until they are mailed off to their new owner!} and packing supplies in my office. Then again, I may need two as I think it would be darling in the laundry room to hold detergents and clothespins, etc.
What would you use it for?
Boxes and Boxes of stuff...not enough closets in Europe....smiles.
ReplyDeleteOh those are gorgeous! I love love love the white cabinet with its amazing scroll and filigree design at the top and the feet...so darling! And the chicken wire is a great idea....less formal than glass (and doesn't need to be cleaned!) but still provides the same function and with more visual interest. Brilliant!
