Adoring the juxtaposition of flouncy couture style and basic bales of hay - Would these not make the most amazing bridal portraits ever? And how precious is that lamb? Love.

Wow, that is stunning!
ReplyDeleteTotally off the topic, but I loved your CB Vintage store so much that I did a post on my blog about it. Congrats - so much great stuff there!
ReplyDeleteI hate to disagree, but this just strikes me as ridiculous. Is it supposed to be a bridal shoot.... with a baby lamb? Really?
ReplyDeleteThese "styled" shoots have gotten a bit big for their britches if you ask me...
Hello Lover... : Thanks so much for your lovely post! It's truly appreciated. xox.
ReplyDeleteMs. Wife of the Year: These photos aren't an actual bridal shoot ... those are bonafide models shooting an editorial ... I found the photos inspiring and am just offering the idea to brides to take their shoot out of a typicsl {and oft-times boring} studio and think outside the box, {ie. If a girl grew up on a farm and wanted to incorporate her family's land/heritage, this could make for an unexpectedly beautiful backdrop.}
Also, I'm sorry but I'm not following on how incorporating a baby lamb is ridiculous? I think if the bride loves animals, it would be an incredibly touching statement to have portraits taken with pets - whether they happen to be dogs, cats, horses, chickens, etc.
Personally, I think it's fabulous that the "styled shoots" as you call them {I say if you use what's around you, it's just showcasing your life} have gotten so big ... I feel like it's celebrating a resurgence of creativity and what's to hate about that? ;o)
Most respectfully,
Sarah
