Red + White + Sequin Sparkle

Mar 16, 2010

There's something so cheerful and uplifting about a red and white palette that makes it a no-brainer color combo for a warm spring wedding. I love that when details are kept to a minimal two-color palette, they tend to really pop and appear so crisp and clean - it's so energizing!

And I'm love, love, loving this Red Grace Sequin Clutch from Felix Rey {shown below} as a must-have accessory for any wedding with a healthy dose of sass! I'd love to see a bride carry such a clutch in place of a bouquet as a statement accessory or have her 'maids carry one in place of their bouquets - wouldn't that be a much better gift than flowers that while momentarily beautiful ... will eventually wilt?

With its celebratory sparkle, I think it would be positively dazzling for a holiday wedding, as well - imagine a Christmas, New Years, Valentines, or Fourth of July wedding with a red + white theme - wouldn't the clutch be a darling accent? Love!

  2. This immediately jumped out at me! I think the red as an accent is very sophisticated and cheery at the same time. And who doesn't love some sparkle :)
