How much fun would it be to plan an equestrian-themed wedding?! I'm imagining a spring afternoon wedding on a sprawling family horse farm ... Vintage loving cup trophies filled with fresh daisies would punctuate a long farm table set up outside or in a cozy barn ... there would be thoughtful haystacks set up for cocktail lounging ... and the bride and groom could ride off together on a white horse while guests wave wedding wands in celebration. :o)

I'm especially loving the idea of incorporating vintage horse {or pony!} shoes in such a themed wedding ... whether used in the escort card set-up or resting on the second tier or a three-tiered wedding cake as unique topper, I think they make the loveliest statement ... as well as adding a bit of luck to the big day! I also think it would be darling to nail a horseshoe or two to an old, weathered sign with a painted message directing guests to the ceremony ... Love the post. Horseshoes are a symbol of luck, too. Who couldn't use a lucky horseshoe on their wedding day? Great for outdoor decor!
