Betty and John's Rustic Wine Country Wedding

Jan 7, 2010

Not only do I love how this super delicious rustic-inspired wedding was styled but I'm also smitten with the couple's sweet love story: Thirteen years after falling in love in school, John proposed to Betty at a little park in Berkeley where they shared their first kiss as teenagers. Betty, of course, was ecstatic and a wedding was soon planned for October 10, 2009, at the romantically secluded Stonehouse at Temecula Creek Inn - right in the middle of of Southern California's fabulous wine country. Beeeeeautiful ...

Betty and John's fall wedding just oozes charm - Everything was so meticulously and lovingly thought out that guests said it felt like a cozy home. Tables were named after various streets around Berkeley that had special meaning for them and their friends and guests cuddled up around the fire pit after indulging in a hearty cookies-and-milk bar.

The gorgeous wedding cake was topped with a pair of adorable lovebirds, and the flower cutouts on the cake matched the embroidery on Betty's vintage-inspired dress (by designer Claire Pettibone). With John being an avid San Francisco 49ers fan, Betty decided to surprise him at the reception with a second, specially made team cake.

Thanks so much to Betty and John for sharing their beautiful day with us and congratulations!!!
Another special thanks to Linda Ly of Bliss Wedding Studio for sending over the fabulous images.
