I'd love to call this sweet nest known as the Houmas House in Houmas, La., mine ... then again, I'd be happy having the little West Garconnierre tower on my lawn {if I had a lawn, that is!} ... Wouldn't it be such a dreamy venue for a spring wedding? I can already imagine the twinkling lights in the trees ...

Yay! Thanks for the Louisiana shout-out (from this Baton Rouge girl.) Most people have never heard of Houma (pronunciation "Home-ma") :-) That location is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteCoretta: I'm in *love* with the unique and distinctive flavor and style that is found in Louisiana! My husband and I are planning a road trip to Houma for some antiquing and sightseeing and I can't wait :o) Glad to know I have some La. readers!! Cheers.
ReplyDeleteI'm getting married at Houmas House this spring, it really is a beautiful location. There is only one correction, it is in Darrow, LA, not in Houma.
