FRENCH WEEK: Board No. 2, Wooded Forest meets Ballet

Jun 22, 2009

I absolutely adore the idea of finding a secluded French chateau surrounded by lush greenery to frame an intimate summer wedding. With such a dramatic + marvelous backdrop, I think it's important to keep the details streamlined and simple ... yet still with a hint of whimsy!

Feel: Modern-day ballet meets enchanted childhood fairytale
Locale: A wondrous 16th century French chateau {+ it's for sale!}, complete with meadows, springs, woods and its very own chapel!
Palette: Verdant greens and milky whites with a whisper of lavender

Now head over to Nicole's blog to see her corresponding bath registry board and tune in tomorrow for more French travels! Also, visit later today for my own gifting tips based on this board! Au revoir!
