Besides the fact that everything in this photo looks positively flawless {the bouquets, the hair, the sheer gorgeousness of these girls!}, what I am most smitten with is that each 'maid was able to wear a different dress reflecting her own unique style. Yet they all come together in beautiful unison with the similar champagne + 'antique brulee' shades. Fab!

loving this trend!
ReplyDeleteI agree, I love how this looks! My girls are in the same color/fabric/length dress, but there are a few different styles.
ReplyDeleteAmazing, I love this!
ReplyDeleteCouldnt agree more. They all look amazing and stylish instead of so uniform.
ReplyDeleteThis is the best example of coordinating styles I've ever seen. Honestly, I've seen quite a few pics of this kind of thing that I wasn't crazy about, but this is stunning, almost ethereal...
ReplyDeleteI know so many brides who are going with this look. My best friend did this for her wedding and thank goodness! I would have been a nightmare if we had to find 5 dresses to suit our (very) different body types!
ReplyDeleteMsTeacherLady:
ReplyDeleteEthereal is such a great word to describe it!!
What I especially find fresh is the dramatic differences in style - some so modern and others so vintage.
Absolutely beautiful! Relaxed yet super elegant. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThese dresses are so gorgeous together! I love the subtle neutral colors with neat textures.
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy I went this route... I wanted by bridesmaids to enjoy my wedding and the planning process as much as possible. I gave them free reign over the entire dress choosing procedure. They decided beforehand that the dresses should be basically solid and not tropical colors. It ended up looking awesome: brown, red, teal, and yellow.
Are these dresses from a particular store/collection? I absolutely love this idea and the color palette. Please let me know!!! Absolutely Stunning...All the girls!
ReplyDeleteHi - thanks for all the lovely comments about my bridesmaids, they did look gorgeous didn't they! The girls dresses are all from Rose & Ruby http://www.roseandruby.com/ (Australian label) from the spring/summer 08 collection (last year) but their new spring summer story is gorgeous and there are styles you can mix n match. have fun :O)
