Daydream: Darling venue

The much-missed Faye & Greer posted long ago about the adorable Inn at Palmetto Bluff in South Carolina and from the moment I laid eyes on photos of this sweet setting, I was in love. I came across the venue again today and thought I'd share its sweetness (once again).

The last photo was taken during a holiday wedding (if you squint, you might be able to make out the garland along the second-story porch). I love the idea of a cheerful Christmas wedding. Anyone planning/planned such an event?

  4. I TOTALLY WANTED TO GET MARRIED THERE! But alas, the cost was too great - and we couldn't ask our guests to drop $650 - $1100 per night... Oh, for the love of Live Oak (the beautiful, beautiful Live Oak) why do all of the beautiful venues cost so damn much?
