I was inspired by Melissa to share our song choices for during our reception. While we've hired musicians for the ceremony and cocktail hour, we decided to compile and create our own CDs for the reception. As of now, we have about 3 hours worth but are still looking for a few more songs.

Tonight, {on our way to see Nights in Rodanthe - who else has seen it so far?? What did you think???? We were a bit disappointed ... }, The Way You Look Tonight came on the radio and we both looked at each other and agreed it's a must-add to the list.

Thought I'd ask my dear readers for suggestions as well, since we're down to the wire now:

  1. It's too hard to pick a favorite, but here are a few great ones that might fit the general vibe of the ones you've listed:
    1. "You've Made Me So Very Happy" by Blood, Sweat and Tears
    2. "Your Song" by Elton John
    3. "Such a Way" by Stephen Kellogg & The Sixers

    I can't believe you're only 3 weeks away--so exciting! I know it will be beautiful (visually and emotionally)

  3. I am a playlist junkie!
    I saw you had COldplay on there, how about 'Til Kingdom Come - its beautiful. Also, sort of in that genre, how about Sweetest Thing, by U2. I think they would both blend into your playlist rather nicely.
    Ooh - in the bratpack genre, also check out "More" by Bobby Darin.

  18. 'the book of love' by peter gabriel is super mellow, incredibly beautiful and heartfelt...if not for the reception, it would be great for your first night together (as man and wife)

    And my hubby and my first dance was to;
    "Rest of My Life" by Unwritten Law

    little more up tempo than perhaps to your complete taste. But I know you'll love Stu Larsen, he's amazing!!
