A few months ago, I came across an 'Underwater Bride' shoot on Kevin Beasley's portfolio -- a wonderfully talented photographer based out of Louisiana. I had seen 'Trash the Dress' sessions before but nothing that encompassed this much drama. The movement of the fabric under the water comes across so gracefully, almost like a nod to the delicate moves of a ballerina.

that first picture is so pretty, i absolutely love it - and i agree, i think it might be kinda great to take to the pool in a gown!
ReplyDeletei have never personally done it, but i've seen it done a lot. three girls i used to know in college did one together after they were all married. i've heard from other brides that did it that it actually got their dresses impeccably clean...but...i'm not sure if i could...i'd probably drown. hah.
