i recently stumbled upon this pair of j. crew big-bow slingback heels from a previous season. (!!!!!!!) whhhhhhhy did i have to see these? i would buy these before even going dress shopping. they're everything i have on my mental checklist for a wedding shoe.
closed-toe. check.
slingback. check.
pointy heels. check.
satin. check.
and that fabulous bow is like icing on the cake for me.
i was able to find the espresso pair still on their site, albeit sold out. boooooo!
bring them back, j. crew! ... puh-lease??? ;o(
has anyone seen anything similar elsewhere?
bah humbug!

you should try calling J. Crew and see if they can locate them, sometimes they do that.
ReplyDeleteI had a similar shoe checklist as you (also included low heel). The shoes I'm wearing are similar - (bow on the side, though). They are "Sabrina" by Grazia: http://www.myglassslipper.com/products2.cfm/dept/SHOES/ID/2195
ReplyDeleteWhat about these?

These are a little more bling-y, but I actually bought these to wear with my dress.

Oh Classic Bride, those our my shoes. I actually just got them but bought them on ebay! (brand new and only paid 57 bucks) I can check with the seller and see if they have anymore of these shoes?
ReplyDeletethanks for the great suggestions. i'm definitely going to give j. crew a call and see what happens! and check out ebay! and if neither of those work, i know there's plenty more options out there! thanks for suggesting a few!
ReplyDeleteI wore these for my wedding! I got them on ebay - if you wear a 7.5 I would be glad to loan them to you :)
