i spotted this gorgeous yellow + white + black board over at snippet & ink.
i've been debating for awhile about switching out navy for black in my wedding color palette and this beautiful board is certainly making me want to sway.
which palette would you prefer?
yellow + white + ???
{ non-related: on a side note, i've been making a little progress with my faux 'couture map' for our direction cards ... i'll try to post a photo or two later on. :o) }

boddington is yummy!
ReplyDeletehmm- I have done several weddings this year with the yellow+black+white combo... and I have to say that it really is MODERN in the execution. If you are looking to sway that route then it will be beautiful- butI am kind of feeling the navy... it lends itself to more warmth... just my opinion.
ReplyDeleteNavy!! I'm using the JCrew Lyndsey dress in navy for my bridesmaids and they all LOVE the dress! They've all stated they'd wear them again. We're doing navy and white seersucker pants for the guys with navy jackets and pink vineyard vine ties. Our flowers will all be pink. BTW in an earlier post you asked how to incorporate navy into the wedding. I would defintely consider navy dresses with bright yellow bouquets. At the reception you could consider navy napkins or table runners (my mom is making table runners in seersucker- I found a great deal on the fabric!), navy borders on the menus and table number signs and navy grosgrain ribbon through the top of your placecards. I think navy and yellow looks so nautical and classic together. Black and yellow is very modern, but after reading all your posts, I don't see your wedding as being uber mod! You are, after all, a "classic bride."
