was thinking about dance floors the other day.
i've never been fond of the kind that resemble plywood taped to the floor.
can't decide on this one. i'm a huge black/white fan, as well as checkerboard tile fan.
but somehow, this seems a little overwhelming to me.
maybe just go with a safe, natural dance floor -- like grass.
dance floor.

I like b&w dance floors -- that's the current plan for our reception -- but I agree, in the picture you show, it looks a little overwhelming. Is it clashing with the floor? I can't really tell. Could it work with bigger squares? Here's an inspiration picture that I love: http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z171/LNsBeatles/dancefloor-lamps.jpg
ReplyDeleteooooh, now that one is just gorgeous! i'm going to have to post about this! :o)
ReplyDeleteYou know ... looking at this picture again ... I think the issue is the relative square sizes. It needs bigger squares. The smaller squares give a dizzying effect. Does that make sense?
ReplyDeleteyes, that completely makes sense!
